A testament to foolishness? Perhaps.

In to Out,
Many yet None,
Everywhere but Nowhere,
All and Nothing.
Sometimes I wish you would tell me, other times I don't.
Amid a flutter of feelings,
It escapes
But this is no freedom.
But I guess we aren't as close as I thought
Way up amongst the
Cloudy-Brown, Strawberry-flavoured
In-security (s),
Rationality becomes barely
Discernible.
I try to comprehend, but I think I may never understand. But its alright I guess. None of my business anyway.
All we need is a little thrust
To soar.

During Econs Dean's List we came up with this :)

Did you know?
HSM is going to save the world economy from utter ruin.

Zac Efron + Vanessa Hudgens + Ashley Tisdale
+ Teenybopper songs + Bad lip synching + No storyline = Wildly successful global franchise

Therefore,

Wildly successful global franchise
= million (nay, billion) dollar merchandising deals inked
+ BILLIONS of Fanatic children/teens/parents
= Lots of money spent on HSM related stuff (e.g. DVDs, CDs, Posters, Books etc etc)

Thus,

The sheer amount of cash spent on HSM merchandise
= less people saving money
= less leakage out of the income flow
= more income circulating
= US economy not going into a recession
= World Economy SAVED :)

Q.E.D.

(okay, so it wasn't entirely logical, but you get the idea.)

So QUICK, run out to your nearest cinema and buy tickets for back-to-back-to-back screenings of High School Musical 3! Go out and buy all the different editions of the previous 2 films on DVD and watch them again and again! Do your part to save the world from economic disaster and collapse! Of course, you'll probably die from all the saccharine moments, the horrendous acting, the cheesy lines and the lack of any discernible plot, but hey, its worth it right? You just saved the rest of us from begging on the streets and queuing up for gruel in the hot sun.

Somewhere, Walt Disney is turning in his grave.

"That is the other side of selflessness: its tyranny"
- Margaret Atwood, The Blind Assassin

IB Depressed.

I don't know whats wrong with me nowadays.
I can't make up my mind, and I keep second-guessing myself.
I am plagued by weird dreams nearly every night.

And to top if off, Windows Vista almost self-destructed, and this time it was my fault. (I still can't believe I let that happen to me. ME.)

Ego-centric ruminations aside, EOYs end tomorrow.
Perhaps, with its closure, I won't be quite so melancholic anymore.

Perhaps.

Then again, perhaps not.

What if I weren't me?
