I had a realisation. And seeing that this blog is "inactive" (see tagboard, haha) I shall post it, for lack of a better thing to post.

Okay. So this is a long overdue post...but

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR MAKING MY 18th BIRTHDAY SPECIAL :D

I think alot of the problems I had over the last few months weren't problems at all.

They were pseudo-problems..."problems", as it were..created by the mind.

After some thought, the root cause of these problems, as it seems to me,
was my ego.

The pre-occupation with the self, coupled with an overestimation of my ability, led me to believe that somethings were owed to me, and that certain individuals should act in certain ways. When in actuality nothing is owed to me, and that some decisions are not for you to make.

Looking back, I now realise that I had unconsciously been stating, through thought and deed:

"Hey EVERYONE! Look at me! I'm important!

Why aren't you looking at me!? Did I mention that I was IMPORTANT?

What the heck is wrong with all of you!?"

or at least the equivalent of that.

Having come to this realisation, this epiphany (love that word), I think its time to make some amends. To the previous list I shall add

4) Stop meddling

And everyone will live happily ever after. (But it's not really for me to say, right?)

In addition...
I think that a blog is essentially a receptacle for ego.
Just count the number of "I"s

Perhaps I shall shut it down.
(the interesting thing is, by stating such a desire to do so, I am invariably drawing more attention to the post, thus nullifying the effort to lose the ego)(also, by assuming that this will draw attention to the post, I am feeding my ego with the presumption that people actually read this blog, or that I, at least, want them to)(Hm.)(Ooh look! More "I"s)
